Li Daokui, chief economist of the BRICS New Development Bank, sees the significance of data sharing.He says new technologies such as artificial intelligence and fully autonomous driving are great, but without new infrastructure, humans cannot enjoy them very well.Data is the infrastructure in the era of artificial intelligence, and data sharing will also become a trend.
"Data sharing should also be limited, otherwise people's privacy may be compromised.For example, the use of home smart speakers, many people are now afraid to use.Because it's in the foreground, it's recorded in the background.If that information is leaked, the user's security is compromised."Liu Qingfeng, founder and chairman of IFLYcorp, said that application standards for AI and big data should be established in the ERA of ARTIFICIAL intelligence, and a legal system should be established to determine the application scenarios and data sharing scope of AI in the form of laws and regulations.
On the regulatory front, Subroko, Astrazeneca's global executive director and CHIEF executive, says regulators do need to do something about technologies such as ARTIFICIAL intelligence, but do not overdo it, because it could stifle the development of the technology.In drug research and development, he argues, China's regulations are now just right, giving companies access to the benefits of medical and biological research and the initiative to invent new drugs.
